Ellie Ward M.S.Ed.

For over 30-years, Ellie Ward has worked successfully to educate students in the public school system and to train teachers and administrators in classroom management and content delivery. Stephanie Harvey and Anne Goudvis cite her techniques in Strategies That Work, a book geared to help teachers take reading from the decoding of symbols to meaningful cognitive processing.

Ellie holds a B.S. in Education with Early Childhood certification and an M.S. Ed. in Reading. She is also a certified Court Mediator in Family Law.

Her belief that academics cannot be separated from behavior has been proven numerous times as she worked with chronic aggressive and violent youth in the ninth largest school district in Texas and the sixty-seventh largest school system in the nation. Her specialty is crisis intervention with students in ongoing behavior challenges, and she models proven solutions as she coaches teachers and administrators in the real life laboratory of the classroom. More than anything, she is a teacher at heart, with a wealth of experience teaching learners of all ages.

Audiences describe Ellie’s presentations as encouraging, motivating humorous, inspiring, passionate, rejuvenating, and practical. Educators and administrators leave her training with a renewed passion for their tasks and tools to accomplish it.
