Christie Ward, CSP
Christie Ward, CSP has over 25 years of experience working collaboratively with individuals and organizations in health care, non-profits, government, business and education settings. She has been a Director of Training at CareerTrack, Inc. where she hired and coached 206 of the top trainers in the world at that time. She has taught in Community College (having done her Masters work in Adult Education) and is certified to administer the Wiley suite of products, including DiSC and the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive team, as well as CoreClarity which utilizes the Strengths Assessment. She uses combinations of these products in her work with both individuals and work teams, where she creates customized, targeted programs and coaching.
In her past, Christie served on the National board for the Association for Talent Development, a global organization of 40,000. She chaired their international convention in 2016 for 10,000 global talent leaders, and has spoken for them in various US cities as well as Singapore and Taipei. As a consultant, coach, trainer, facilitator, and speaker Christie has provided professional services across a variety of settings and teams around topics such as conflict, communication, effective teaming, managing change, professional boundaries, generation issues and presentation skills. She volunteers at the Tennyson Center for Abused Children in Denver, where she and some other speaker colleagues hold a speech contest once a year which develops confidence for the disadvantaged children in residence there. Goodwill Industries is both a client for management seminars and another volunteer focus, as Christie conducts mock scholarship interviews for disadvantaged inner-city high school youth to get them ready to apply for college. Christie takes both her community and her leadership seriously – and believes leadership is about what you contribute and the legacy you leave. She is a leader on and off the platform.
